Honor is continuing its push to refresh its brand image with a new logo and a new tagline: “Dare to Be”. This isn’t just a new coat of paint, though. Honor wants users to know that it’s more than just a smartphone company.

Part of that is the upcoming Robot Phone, which was recently featured in an event with partner Arri (a famous maker of cinema cameras). This device – part phone, part robot – is part of Honor’s efforts to build intelligent devices – adaptive, interactive machines powered by AI.

The company also showcased its AiMAGE technology, which combines on-device image processing with cloud-based intelligence for more advanced features. Through its partnership with Arri, Honor wants to build phones – and other devices like the Robot Phone and its advanced gimbal – that push smartphone imaging capabilities further.

Going back to AI, the company is developing an Agentic OS, which will serve as a platform for AI agents – “agents” means LLMs that use tools (web search, databases, programming languages, etc.) to carry out tasks rather than just respond to questions.

Smartphones are a key part of Honor’s AI-focused strategy, but the full picture includes tablets, PCs, wearables and other intelligent devices.

On the business side, Honor reports that it grew 25% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the year-ago quarter. Revenues from overseas markets contributed more than half of the total, making Honor a global brand.

Going forward, Honor will work towards building a strong connection with young users. It wants to be seen as a company that embraces experiences, creativity and individuality rather than yet another tech giant.
